Use a clean project folder

Put only the files needed for the assignment, presentation, lab, or print task in one clearly named folder. This is the easiest free step.

Check what appears at the drive root

Teachers, classmates, or school staff may see the first screen of the USB drive while helping you open the project. Remove or move unrelated folders before class.

Do not depend on hidden folders

Hidden folders can be revealed, searched, or opened from file dialogs. They are not real privacy protection for personal files.

Use a public area and secure area
